TME product and equipment designs are created, documented, and revised using several kinds of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.  Each customer's product design is CAD documented, backed up to two compact discs (CD or DVD), and stored at TME and in a safety deposit box in Plano Texas.  Solid modeling software and drafting software are used for mechanical designs, 2D and 3D machinist and assembly drawings, block diagrams, and visualizations during consulting.  Schematic capture software is used at several levels of assembly for electrical, electronic, fiber optic, and pneumatic schematics as well as for generating parts lists and net lists.  Electronic circuit layout software is used for designing and tooling printed circuit board, flex circuit, thick film, and thin film hybrid layouts.  Manuals and other documentation are composed with publishing software.  Other software is employed for more specialized design tasks such as circuit analysis, simulations, and programmable logic.
